FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Paul Arriola scored on a penalty kick in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time and FC Dallas rallied for a 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution on Saturday night.

Arriola took the PK, scoring his third goal of the season for Dallas (8-11-6) after Tarik Scott drew a foul on New England defender Henry Kessler.

Neither team found the net until an own goal by Dallas defender Nkosi Tafari in the 65th minute staked the Revolution (7-14-2) to a 1-0 lead.

Aljaz Ivacic totaled one save in goal for the Revolution. Maarten Paes saved one shot for Dallas. Neither goalkeeper was tested in a scoreless first half.

Dallas saw a two-match win streak end but improved to 5-3-1 under interim manager Peter Luccin. The club played without leading scorer Petar Musa, who was serving a one-match suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards. Musa has scored nine goals in his last eight matches.

The Revolution snapped a three-match losing streak that followed a run of five victories in six matches under first-year manager Caleb Porter.

New England leads the all-time series 24-19-5. Dallas improves to 8-13-2 on the road against the Revs.

The league will take a month off to play for the Leagues Cup. Dallas will travel to play D.C. United when play resumes on Aug. 24. New England takes to the road to play CF Montreal on Aug. 24.
