Update: Between 15 and 20 migrants who were at the Paso del Norte Bridge in Downtown Juárez waiting for their 1 p.m. CBP One App appointments today were told all those were canceled, and the program shut down.

A spokeswoman with the Chihuahua Border Bridges Trust department told ABC-7, that migrants waiting there were sad and disappointed with the ruling made by the new U.S. presidential administration.

"It's very difficult, it's very difficult because never in my life, never, never did I want to go into the U.S. by evading the law. I always wanted to do things well and I tell you so publicly; I have always feared God," said Jose Antonio Suchite a Honduran migrant.

Suchite told the media he has been in Mexico for over five months, and now he doesn't know what to do after his CBP One appointment was canceled.

Margelis Tinoco is from Colombia and she arrived in Mexico with her family six months ago.

"I am devastated. But as it says until further notice, I will wait for the new notice. I don't lose my hope," Tinoco said.

Nayareli Rivera with the state of Chihuahua also told ABC-7, they used to see between 100 to 120 migrants per day with a confirmed CBP One appointment.

Update: All current appointments made with immigration officials through the CBP One app have officially been canceled, the CBP website says.

“Effective January 20, 2025, the functionalities of CBP One™ that previously allowed undocumented aliens to submit advance information and schedule appointments at eight southwest border ports of entry is no longer available, and existing appointments have been cancelled,” an update on the CBP website says.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- The Associated Press is reporting that the Trump administration is ending use of the CBP One App, which is used by migrants looking to legally enter the U.S.

Successfully using the app gave migrants the permission to legally enter the U.S. with the eligibility to work.

Details are currently limited. We will update this story when we learn more.
