El Paso city officials seeking input though satisfaction survey

Check your mail boxes. The City of El Paso has sent surveys across the area to receive input on city services and programs.

It’s called the 2019 City of El Paso Citizen Satisfaction Survey which is being administered by the city manager’s office. The survey is conducted every other year as one way to obtain feedback.

Its focus is to help with future budget and strategic planning decisions.

People are selected at random to take the survey. Residents who receive it in the mail are asked to rate each item, which includes neighborhood satisfaction, economic growth, public safety, and streets and infrastructure.

The survey is costing the city between $30,000 to $40,000. That money is addressing the design instruments, sampling plan, costs to administer it and the analysis of the survey.

A summary of the survey’s results are expected to be shared this Fall.

Participants who have any questions are asked to call 1-800-801-5368. Participants can also take the survey in Spanish. To do so the city asks residents to call 1-800-811-0411.

Survey responses will remain anonymous.
