100 Deadliest Days: Staying safe while drinking this summer

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA)-- June, July, and August are the deadliest months for drunk driving crashes involving underage drunk drivers, according to recent data. Experts say during these months teens and young adults are celebrating graduations or enjoying the warm weather with friends and family.

Summer drinking can lead to dehydration, heat stroke, and car crashes. Drivers between the ages 15–20 make up 29% of people killed in alcohol involved motor vehicle crashes , according to Texans for Safe and Drug Free Youth.

I'll be speaking with David Reich from the National Road Safety Foundation for information on how everyone can make sure we have the safest summer.
