Mescalero Apache man sentenced for strangling his wife

ALAMOGORDO, New Mexico (KVIA) -- 30-year-old Fulton C. Potter will spend the next 64 months in federal prison for strangling his wife.

The enrolled Mescalero Apache Tribe member strangled his wife on November 24, 2023, federal prosecutors in New Mexico say.

"Upon his release from prison, Potter will be subject to three years of supervised release," the prosecutors added.
