Lincoln National Forest closed

New Mexico -- As of 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Lincoln National Forest is under a forest-wide closure.

The closure was announced Monday, just ahead of the Memorial Day holiday weekend. It will remain closed until July 30.

The New Mexico Mobile Newsroom traveled to Cloudcroft and Ruidoso to talk to business owners to see how this will impact their livelihoods.
