Virgin Galactic space flight takes off from Southern New Mexico with Las Cruces native on board
SPACEPORT AMERICA, New Mexico (KVIA) -- Virgin Galactic is blasting off from southern New Mexico Thursday. The Unity 25 crew was announced earlier this month, which includes Las Cruces native Jamila Gilbert.
The flight will not be livestreamed. However, Virgin Galactic will be tweeting updates throughout the day.
