Thursday Scoreboard: High school baseball playoffs begin for El Paso schools

EL PASO, Texas - In 2020 the high school baseball season was cut short because of Covid-19.

Fast forward a year later and finally baseball teams across the state of Texas now have a chance at winning a state title.

Thursday, the high school baseball playoffs began for several El Paso schools.

The games played on Thursday are all a best of three series.

The scores from Thursday night are as follows:

Odessa Permian 11 Socorro 0 (Game one, Best of 3) - Game two Saturday in Odessa

CLASS 5A

Del Valle 2 Andress 5 (Game one, Best of 3) - Game two Friday at Del Valle
