Friday Scoreboard: High school baseball & softball playoffs
EL PASO, Texas - The bidistrict round of the high school baseball playoffs continued Friday, while the area round of the softball playoffs got underway.
Some El Paso baseball teams were on the brink of elimination, while others were one win away from advancing to the area round.
Meantime, five softball teams from El Paso were looking to stay alive in the playoffs as they began their area round games.
