High School Hoops: Chapin edges Franklin, 62-58

EL PASO, Texas - It was a Tuesday night showdown between two of the top high school basketball teams in El Paso.

The Chapin Huskies paid a visit to Franklin to take on a Cougars team that was riding a 9 game win streak.

The Huskies were also on a win streak entering the day with 7 straight victories.

The game was back and forth throughout with Franklin taking just a two point lead at halftime.

Chapin would get the edge over Franklin by a final score of 62-58.

Chapin improves to 14-4 on the season, while Franklin suffers just their third loss of the season at 11-3.
