Police investigate shooting near west El Paso motel

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso police are investigating a shooting near a Motel 6 on the Westside.

Police said they first received a call about the shooting on the 7800 block of N. Mesa St. just after 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

Police said a victim was transported to the hospital, but did not disclose the severity of their injuries.
