El Paso man dies 2 weeks after being injured in U.S. 54 crash
EL PASO, Texas -- An 88-year-old man has now died as a result of injuries he suffered in a traffic crash two weeks ago, El Paso police said Monday.
Antonio Medina Miranda’s car was sideswiped by another car along U.S. 54 south while entering Interstate 10 east on Jan. 31.
The impact from the collision pushed Miranda’s car into a concrete barrier and he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries at the time, according to investigators.
Police have not said if the driver of the car that struck Miranda’s will face any charges as a result of his death.
