Caught on video: Man arrested after running across I-10, causing traffic to be diverted
El PASO, Texas -- A man was taken into custody by El Paso police officers early Wednesday after repeatedly running onto Interstate 10 at Yarbrough and jumping out in front of vehicles, disrupting morning traffic.
The incident was caught on video by a Texas Department of Transportation video camera.
It happened just after 5 a.m. and caused officers to divert motorists off the highway and onto Gateway for a short time period, which resulted in a traffic backup.
Authorities said fortunately the man wasn't injured, but he was arrested for interfering with traffic.
