Woman struck by pickup, seriously hurt in central El Paso
EL PASO, Texas -- A pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck and seriously injured in central El Paso on Wednesday night.
It happened about 9 p.m. in the 3400 block of Montana Avenue near Copia Street.
The victim hit, believed to be a 21-year-old woman, was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center in serious condition.
Investigators were at the scene late into the night examining the truck, although there was no word on whether the driver might face any charges.
No further details were immediately available from authorities.
