I-10 Widening West

Monday, December 4, at 9pm, through Thursday, December 7, at 9am

• Eastbound I-10 will be closed to all traffic at Vinton Road.

DETOUR: Take Exit 2 (Spur 37/Vinton Road/Westway Drive), continue on South Desert Boulevard, and re-enter I-10 before Redd Road.

Crews will be pouring two new concrete bridge decks and allowing them to cure.

Beginning Monday, December 4, at 9pm

• The temporary on-ramp from South Desert Boulevard to eastbound I-10 near Canutillo High School will close permanently.

DETOUR: Continue on South Desert Boulevard to the temporary on-ramp near Redd Road.

Crews will begin construction of a new temporary off-ramp.

Guardrail Repair Project

Monday, December 4

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Gateway East at Hawkins on-ramp closed.
• Loop 375 (Border Highway) westbound between Fonseca and US-54 right lane closed.

Tuesday, December 5

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• I-10 westbound between Schuster and Executive right lane and Executive exit ramp closed.

Wednesday, December 6

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Loop 375 (Transmountain) eastbound between Mile Marker 19 and Wilderness Museum left lane closed.

Thursday, December 7

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Loop 375 (Transmountain) eastbound between Mile Marker 20 and one mile east of Main Gap right lane closed.
• Loop 375 (Transmountain) westbound between Paseo Del Norte and Resler left lane closed.

Crews will be repairing guardrail.

Spall Repair Project

Sunday, December 3

7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• I-10 eastbound between Sunland Park and Executive three right lanes and Sunland Park on-ramp closed.

Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Gateway north and south at Fred Wilson intersection alternate lane closures.

Wednesday, December 6

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• I-10 at Gateway east after Hawkins intersection two left lanes and turnaround from north to south closed.

Thursday, December 7

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• I-10 at Gateway east before Airway intersection two right lanes closed.

Crews will be repairing spall.

Bridge Joint Cleaning

Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Spur 6 between Doniphan and FM-1905 alternate lane closures.

Crews will be cleaning bridge joints.

 North Mesa Street Rehabilitation Project

Monday, December 4 and Friday, December 8

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Mesa (SH-20) north and southbound between Sunland Park and Camille alternate lane closures.

Crews will be repairing curbs and concrete work.

• Mesa (SH-20) north and southbound between Sunland Park and Camille rolling lane closure.

Crews will be striping.

North Mesa Street Lighting Improvement Project

Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8

9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Mesa (SH-20) north and southbound between I-10 and Doniphan alternate lane closures.
• Mesa (SH-20) north and southbound between East Baltimore/Glory Road and Sunland Park alternate right lane closures.

Crews will be boring for electrical conduit, pouring drill shaft foundations, and potholing.

Traffic Signal Improvements Project

Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• Mesa (SH-20) north and southbound at Resler intersection alternate lane closures.
• Montana (US-62) east and westbound at McRae intersection right lane closed.
• Spur 601 at Loop 375 intersection right shoulder closed.

Crews will be boring for electrical conduit, placing ground boxes, and intercession safety.

Maintenance

Monday, December 4 through Friday, December 8

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• I-10 westbound between Trowbridge and Buffalo Soldier alternate lane closures.
• I-10 westbound Airway entrance ramp closed.

Crews will be working on bridge.

• I-10 eastbound between Downtown and Cotton right lane closed.

Crews will be working on rail.

• Loop 375 eastbound between US-54 and Midway right lane closed.
• Woodrow Beam westbound between Rushing and Gateway North alternate lane closures.

Crews will be working on shoulder work.

Montana Frontage Road Project

Thursday, December 07

Overnight, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• Montana Avenue and Lee Trevino Drive Intersection.
• Montana Avenue (US62/180) east and westbound left lane closures
• Montana Avenue (US62/180) east and westbound frontage rounds

Crews will be removing concrete barriers.

Loop 375 Widening Project

Sunday, December 3 through Tuesday, December 5

Nightly, 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• Americas Avenue (frontage road) north to southbound turnaround at North Loop Road will be closed.

Crews will be working on removing/installing utility structures (girder placement) at UPRR Bridge.

Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7

Nightly, 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• Americas Highway (Loop 375) southbound main lane closure between North Loop Overpass and Zaragoza (POE) Overpass
• Americas Highway (Loop 375) northbound main lane closure between Zaragoza (POE) Overpass and North Loop Overpass

Crews will be working on removing existing bridge overhang and placing bridge girders.

Sunday, December 3 through Thursday, December 7

Nightly, 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• Alternating Socorro, Pan American, North Loop, and Alameda Underpass complete closure
• Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound left lane closure between S Americas Avenue (POE) and Pan American Intersection

Crews will be working on removing existing bridge overhang, patching, installing utility structures and bridge deck pour.

Monday, December 4 through Saturday, December 9

Daily 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• Americas Avenue (frontage road) north and southbound alternating lane closures between Zaragoza (POE) and North Loop Drive
• Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound left lane closure between Pan American Intersection and S. Americas Intersection
• Pan American Exit Ramp northbound will be closed.
• Americas Highway (Loop 375) northbound/southbound alternating left lane closure between Zaragoza (POE) Overpass and Americas Interchange
• South Americas Entrance Ramp northbound will be closed.

Crews will be installing electrical, patching MSE wall, painting, and work zone entry.

Continuous closures until further notice

• S Americas Avenue at Pan American Drive turnarounds in both directions will be closed
• S Americas Avenue at Socorro Road turnarounds in both directions will be closed
• S Americas Avenue at North Loop Drive turnarounds in both directions will be closed
• S Americas Avenue northbound to southbound turnaround at Alameda Avenue will be closed
• Loop 375 southbound to northbound truck turnaround at S Americas will be closed.

Crews will be widening LP 375 main lane bridge structures.
