ABC-7 First Alert for next week – rain and cooler temps

The ABC-7 StormTrack weather team issued a first alert for the entire viewing area for next Tuesday and Wednesday. Showers and some storms will arrive late Monday and into Tuesday. High temperatures will drop to the low and mid 70's.

Rainfall amounts could range from .10 - .50". El Paso and Las Cruces are both around 4" BELOW average for rainfall so far this year. This storm system will exit on Thursday.

Temps have been hot today. EL Paso hit 91 - a record high for this date and the hottest ever this late in the season.
