ABC-7 First Alert: Fog consumes El Paso, limiting visibility for the morning commute

El Paso, TX (KVIA)-The ABC-7 First Alert remains in place. There will be dense areas for this morning across the Borderland; the National Weather Service/El Paso has issued an advisory until 10 am. Be careful as you drive this morning.

A Dense Fog Advisory is issued by your local National Weather Service office when widespread dense fog develops. Visibilities frequently drop to one-quarter of a mile or less when this happens. Take extra caution when on the road or avoid driving if possible.

The fog will lift late this morning, setting the stage for a lovely afternoon. The next weather system will move on Friday and Saturday, bringing widespread rain showers. Christmas Eve and the day will be cool and dry.
