The ABC-7 First Alert continues for much colder temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday. A winter storm system will impact our region over the next few days. Bundle up! Temperatures will be much colder.

Thankfully the winds won't be as strong as yesterday afternoon but we will see wind gusts between 25 to 30 mph. Temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler than Monday's high of 70 degrees, Tuesday will only reach the low 50s, 40s by Wednesday afternoon.

Scattered mountain snow and rain showers will impact the area tonight as a second cold front pushes in with even colder air from the northeast. The rain will move out of the borderland Wednesday afternoon. Thursday through the weekend will bring dry and warmer conditions.
