Weekend brings warmer temps and a chance for rain.
Winds cranked up across parts of the west side Thursday. Gusts hit 50 mph at Texas Tech Transmountain. Temps hit 80 degrees following the passage of a cold front.
The weekend will get hotter with slight rain/storm chances.
