Hottest day of the year so far

Temps climbed anywhere from 102-111 across the area today. The hottest of they year so far. Officially, at the El Paso airport, we hit 107 (actually tied record on this date set in 2014). This is the hottest temp since 2018 when we hit 108.

Temps will slowly decline over the weekend but still be hot. I expect 100-104. There will be a slight chance for rain both Saturday and Sundy. Temps will cool a bit next week in the mid 90's.
