StormTrack Weather: Dry, windy conditions kick off the work week.
EL PASO, Texas-- The borderland experienced another hot afternoon with the official high reaching 100 degrees.
The breezy conditions we`ve seen today will last until a couple
hours after sunset. El Paso County could see some prolonged wind
gusts after midnight.
Very dry, with breezy to windy conditions will continue on Monday. Gusts of up to 35 mph are expected Monday afternoon which will bring widespread fire weather concerns Monday afternoon.
Wind will stay elevated overnight as a cold front passes through the region. This will bring below normal high temperatures on Tuesday, with some parts of town only reaching the upper 80s.
Daily rain chances return starting Thursday evening through Saturday.
