ABC-7 First Alert: Cold front brings a slight cool down and a few storms
Borderland residents will wake up to a few clouds and patchy smoke from the wildfires in Arizona and New Mexico.
The smoke will drift with the arrival of a backdoor cold front, west slopes prepare for occasional wind gusts this morning.
The cold front will bring increased moisture along with potential thunderstorms mainly east.
Expect much of the same Wednesday, keep in mind that some of the storms could produce hail, lightning, rain and damaging winds.
Drier conditions, and hotter temperatures, will return for the
weekend and early next week.
