ABC-7 First Alert: Winds turn gusty Friday with areas of blowing dust and sand

The winds will pick up later in the day Friday. Gusts from the SW will increase to 40 mph by the afternoon and evening. There will be some areas of blowing dust and sand in spots. Most will occur out to the west of El Paso.

The winds will continue through the weekend with gusts around 35 mph and cooler temps. Highs are expected to drop in the 60's.
