CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Officials in Mexico said Thursday they were looking into a Juarez death that may be linked to the coronavirus.

Dr. Arturo Zorrilla Valenzuela, the director of medical service in the northern region of Mexico, said the victim was a 39-year-old woman who died at a Juarez hospital of pneumonia earlier this week.

He indicated health leaders were working to officially determine if her death was related to the virus.

As of Thursday, the number of confirmed virus cases in Juarez remained at four.
