NEW YORK (AP) — Harvey Weinstein is facing a new sex crime charge from as he awaits retrial in his landmark #MeToo case in New York. The ex-movie mogul pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a new charge of committing a criminal sex act. A new indictment accuses him of forcing oral sex on a woman in the spring of 2006. Prosecutors haven’t released any details about her. But an attorney said that she represents the woman and that she has never told her story publicly. Weinstein has long maintained that he never engaged in any non-consensual sexual activity. He was convicted in 2020 of rape and criminal sex act charges, but New York’s highest court overturned that conviction this April. He’s awaiting retrial.
