One person hospitalized after fiery crash

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a fiery crash in East El Paso early Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after midnight at the intersection of Joe Battle and Pellicano. A jeep and a truck were involved. It’s not clear how the crash happened or who was at fault, but the jeep was the vehicle that caught fire.

The intersection was closed for a brief time, but has since reopened for the morning commute.
