Law enforcement officer hit by car while responding to crash

Update: Officials tell ABC-7 that an officer was hit while at the scene of a crash.

They say a car hit a pedestrian. Law enforcement agencies showed up. While there, one of the officers was hit by another car. Officials tell ABC-7 he is in serious condition. The car that hit the officer sustained serious damage.

HORIZON, Texas (KVIA) -- First responders tell ABC-7 they are responding to a serious crash along Horizon Boulevard and Darrington Road in Horizon.

Witnesses tell ABC-7 there is a large police presence at the scene. Fire crews also responded to the crash. Horizon Boulevard is completely shut down in that area at this time.
