Part of the UTEP campus will be closed for law enforcement training exercise
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A portion of the University of Texas at El Paso will be closed off today for a live training exercise for multiple law enforcement agencies.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and other federal, state, and local first responders will hold an exercise on October 26 at the Union Building.
The building and two streets will be closed to the public.
Street closures include University Ave. near the Hilton Garden Inn and Randolph Dr. street entrance at Kidd Field.
Businesses have been advised of the live exercise.
The training will be from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
