ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Orlando’s tourism machine has begun grinding to a halt ahead of Hurricane Milton’s expected hit as a major storm in Florida. At least two major theme parks and the main airport announced closures Tuesday. Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld will close their theme parks and respective entertainment facilities Wednesday. They are expected to be closed Thursday as well. Orlando International Airport says it will cease operations Wednesday morning. The airport is the nation’s seventh busiest and Florida’s most trafficked. The Orlando area is the most visited destination in the United States. It attracted 74 million tourists last year.
