A defense minister and 2 former governors are vying for Indonesia’s presidency

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Indonesian voters are deciding who will be the successor to popular President Joko Widodo, who is serving his second and final term. It is a three-way race among Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and two former provincial governors, Anies Baswedan and Ganjar Pranowo. Polls have shown Subianto consistently ahead of his rivals but he may not be able to avoid a runoff.
