Vigil held for El Paso High School athlete who died suddenly
EL PASO, Texas -- Members of the El Paso High School community remembered a young life cut short at a candlelight vigil on the steps of the school Friday evening.
Kevin Bolhs, a senior who was set to graduate in the spring, died suddenly on Thursday. A cause of death has yet to be disclosed.
Bohls was a multi-sport athlete who made his mark at one of the oldest schools in Sun City; he was a captain on the swimming team and a basketball player at the school.
The pain on the faces of his friends and classmates was obvious as they turned out in west El Paso for the vigil in his honor. They described Bohls as as a dedicated student athlete and leader.
