EL PASO, Texas -- Sure, Halloween just passed a few days ago and we're weeks away from Thanksgiving.

But the City of El Paso is already thinking about winter. WinterFest, that is.

The fourth annual WinterFest kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 23 and will run through Sunday, January 5, 2020.

The launch is marked by the traditional Celebration of Lights Parade and Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at San Jacinto Plaza in Downtown El Paso. The family-friendly and mostly free celebration will encompass downtown, including the Arts Festival Plaza.

The city is also bringing back the ice-skating rink, a winter-themed café, shows, festive decorations, and more.

San Jacinto Plaza will light up the heart of downtown and will host holiday entertainment every weekend, including shopping and seasonal food and drinks. Events and special programming in this year’s celebration will be announced in the coming weeks.

For more information, visit the official El Paso Winterfest website.
