U.K. Bids Farewell to their Queen

LONDON, U.K. -- Today, the Queen’s coffin will travel in procession from Buckingham palace to Westminster hall for lying-in-state. ABC will have complete coverage beginning at 7:15 am local time.

A service lasting about 20 minutes will then be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Queen Elizabeth II coffin arrived at Buckingham palace on Tuesday after being transported from a Royal Air Force base in west London by car.

The royal family received the coffin as it arrived at the palace. It will rest in the bow room overnight before being moved so mourners can pay their respects to the late Queen.

The coffin was brought from Edinburgh, Scotland earlier Tuesday. The deceased Monarch's only daughter, Princess Anne, accompanied the Queen on her final flight.
