Children’s painkillers in high demand as respiratory illnesses continue to rise
(CNN)- With respiratory illnesses on the rise across the country painkillers for children are getting harder to find.
Walgreens said it is still able to meet the demands of customers and patients.
Earlier this week Seattle children's hospital said it was experiencing a shortage of liquid Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen, which are commonly given to children.
Meanwhile, Johnson and Johnson which makes Children's Tylenol and Children's Motrin is increasing its production.
The company said there isn't a shortage of these medications but some products may be less available in certain areas.
All but six states are experiencing "high" or "very high" respiratory virus levels.
