NMSU caps off Spring practices with Spring football game
LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - After 14 practices during the Spring football session, the New Mexico State Aggies capped it off with a football game.
Thursday night at Aggie Memorial Stadium, the NMSU football team took part in a Spring football game.
It was Crimson versus White.
The teams were put together through a draft with starting quarterback Diego Pavia leading team White, and backup quarterback Gavin Frakes leading team Crimson.
In the end it was team White winning the game, 12-6.
Team White scored the only touchdown of the game following a touchdown pass from Pavia to running back Tim Gans.
NMSU head coach Jerry Kill said he was impressed by what he saw from both teams.
Kill will soon kickoff his second season as head coach of the NMSU Aggies.
His first season ended in victory in the Quick Lane Bowl over Bowling Green.
