ABC-7 First Alert: Winds begin today, and last through Monday with low rain chances

Good Saturday morning everyone! Today is the first day of this weekend's First Alert, and therefore the first day where we will see strong winds. Later this morning, and by lunchtime, those winds will be around 15-20 mph with gusts even stronger than that. Today, I'm forecasting the max wind gusts up to 35 mph out of the SW.

Tomorrow, I'm looking at max wind gusts up to 40 mph, and on Sunday, back down to 35 mph gusts. Needless to say, the next three days will stay windy for much of the day. It would be smart to bring everything that could fly away inside! Over the next 3 days, our rain chances will increase as well- ending up at 40% for Monday. It should be light to moderate rain showers wherever we see rain.

Finally, our temperatures are going to drop as well, due to a cold front on Monday! Today we will be in the low 80s, which is above average. Tomorrow, we will be in the upper 70s, and by Monday we will be in the low 60s! Brrrrrr!
