StormTrack Weather: Breezy conditions continue tonight, windy Thursday

El Paso, TX ( KVIA)- The winds picked up across the borderland today, with some areas seeing winds between 35 to 40 mph. The breezy to windy conditions continue Thursday with wind gusts around 35+ mph. The windiest locations will be across the area mountains.

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the Sacramento Mountains. The alert goes into effect from midnight to 3 p.m., winds will peak between 30 to 35 mph and gusts near 55 mph. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 80s.

A cold front moves in late Thursday into Friday morning bringing cooler temperatures through Saturday.
