ABC-7 First Alert Continues: Very hot with scattered storms

Beneficial rains hit parts of the Borderland Wednesday evening with some flash flooding. Some areas around UTEP and downtown picked up about one inch of rain in spots. There were no reports of any hail.

High temperatures for Wednesday hit 108 in El Paso and 107 in Las Cruces.

Hot temperatures with plenty of humidity will hang around for Thursday. Widely scattered storms will be around again tomorrow. These storms will not move very quickly so cells that do form will be very productive rain producers.

Temps will be just a little cooler tomorrow but still above average with highs around 100-103. Temps will heat up again Friday and Saturday with highs around 105.
