The ABC-7 StormTRACK Weather team issued an ABC-7 First Alert for the heat. High pressure will allow temperatures to heat up into the triple digits through the weekend. Thursday and Friday will be the hottest days with
several locations hitting 105 degrees.

Keep in mind that prolonged exposure to hot temperatures can cause heat exhaustion. The symptoms can include heavy sweating, rapid pulse or heart rate, nausea, fatigue, or headache. If you're experiencing any of these symptoms, get into the shade or air conditioning, and drink lots of water.
