StormTRACK Weather: Red flag warning for many areas
El Paso, Texas- Another hot day across the Borderland, with temperatures creeping into the triple digits once again. Any chance of moisture has been thrown out the window. Dry air has pushed into the region and winds will be on the breezy category for today, but even stronger tomorrow.
Hot, dry, and breezy to windy conditions today and Monday will
combine with very dry fuels and Very High to Extreme Fire Danger
to produce Red Flag conditions across Southern New Mexico and Far
West Texas.
El Paso will top off at 100 for a high temperature. Winds from the WSW 10-20 MPH, wind gusts even stronger at 25 MPH.
Las Cruces will escape the triple digits and top off at 95 for an afternoon high. WSW winds from 10-20 MPH and gusts from 25-30 MPH. A Red Flag Warning is in place today from noon - 8 P.M. for Doña Ana county.
