ABC-7 First Alert: Staying chilly, still rain chances Friday

What a weather day Thursday. We experienced cooler temps - well below average - along with rain and windy conditions on the west side of town this morning. The high temperature today was 56 degrees, 27 degrees below normal for this time of year. This was also a record low max temperature - record low-max was 60 degrees in 1925! Rainfall recorded at the EL Paso airport was .17" as of Thursday evening at 6 pm.

If you are a snowfall fan - head to Cloudcroft. Reports from weather watchers indicate anywhere from 7-10" since this morning.

Rain chances will continue through Friday with temperatures running below average in the mid and upper 60's.
