Storm pounds parts of El Paso Thursday evening

A severe storm struck parts of El Paso Thursday evening in and around the airport and mall. Doppler rainfall estimates indicate upwards of .75" of rain. Some hail also hit the area with pea to marble size common.

Friday looks to be a better day with rain and storm chances mainly confined to the east side of town.
