ABC-7 First Alert: Showers and thunderstorms increase along with cooler temps

Good morning! An ABC-7 First Alert is in effect for increased rain chances this week.

I hope you had a great weekend, it was an awesome weekend for outdoor activities. Changes arrive this week as the pattern becomes more active.

There will be a 20 percent chance of isolated showers Monday with temperatures in the 80s.

Thunderstorms will be possible each day this week but I think the wettest days will be Tuesday and Wednesday.

Temperatures will cool to the 70s for the rest of the week.
