EPCC awards 100,000th degree
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- El Paso Community College hit a milestone during tonight's Fall 2023 commencement.
The college awarded its 100,000th total degree. During the ceremony, 2,101 associate degrees and certificates of completion were presented.
The event also marked a milestone for one student in particular. Jasmine Saucedo found out she was pregnant and knew it was time to go back to school. She enrolled at EPCC because she wanted to help give her daughter a better life. She was awarded her degree and completed her nursing program pre-requisites.
