These high winds and limited visibility may impact travel specifically for drivers on highways and rural roads.
Today's gusts are expected to reach up to 65 mph in some locations through tonight.
The national weather service says that infants, the elderly and those with respiratory issues are urged to take necessary precautions.
The dust is also known to worsen allergy and asthma symptoms.
It's recommended that residents stay indoors when possible.
