Las Cruces police seek help in locating missing man

Las Cruces police are asking for the public’s help in finding Nathan W. Holifield.

Holifield, age 60, has been missing since Monday.

Police learned that Holifield left his home on the 1900 block of Amy Place on Monday and headed off in an unknown direction.

Police say he has some medical ailments and he hasn’t had access to his medication for several days. He also has a speech impediment and may be difficult to understand, police say.

Holifield is described as being 5-feet-6, weighing 170 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

He was last spotted at the Gospel Rescue Mission on Monday. He was wearing gray pants and a tan jacket.

Police say he likes to frequent the McDonald’s on North Main Street and the Pic Quick on North Valley Drive.

Anyone with information on Holifield is asked to call the Las Cruces Police Department.
