Sheriff’s Crisis Intervention Team details services provided by the team
EL PASO, Texas - Live Active-El Paso hosted a Mental Health Resource Fair at San Jacinto Plaza. The fair included deputies from the El Paso County Sheriff's Office Crisis Intervention Team or CIT.
Several mental health providers also participated to educate the El Paso community about mental health services available in the county.
The Sheriff's CIT shared the team's goals and the services they provide when responding to situations.
Motivational speeches, learning activities and members with various mental health support organizations were available.
