Mexico finds missing Colombian women. They had apparently been forced to work as escorts
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican officials say they have found at least eight Colombian women who were reported missing in the Gulf coast state of Tabasco. The state’s governor said the women were in good health and had been taken to the state prosecutors’ offices. The women were apparently working as escorts and were sent to an event but did not return. The spokesman for Tabasco state said that a missing persons report had been filed Friday, a week after the reported disappearances. According to Imagen Television, which first reported the story, the disappearances were first reported by other women working in the same conditions.
