EPISD: Online threat made toward Canyon Hills Middle School not considered credible
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- EPISD officials are investigating an online threat that was emailed to the principal of Canyon Hills Middle School.
A spokesman for the district tells ABC-7 they do not believe the threat is credible.
"We would not continue with the instructional day if we felt it was credible," spokesman Gustavo Reveles said.
Out of an abundance of caution, the district did send a message to parents acknowledging that a threat had been made. The district did have added patrol units at the northeast El Paso middle school.
