UTEP basketball coach Rodney Terry seen at pregame practice after hospital release
BOCA RATON, Florida -- UTEP men's basketball head coach Rodney Terry was seen at pregame practice Saturday ahead of the Miner's match-up with Florida Atlantic.
Jon Teicher, the team's broadcast announcer, posted a photo on Twitter of Terry on the court watching the team do a shoot-around.
Rodney was released from the hospital Friday after being admitted following an allergic reaction that resulted in anaphylactic shock.
The UTEP team tweeted support for their coach after it was announced that Terry was released from the hospital.
Terry himself also posted a statement on Twitter Friday night thanking fans for their support.
Terry is expected to resume regular duties late next week. Assistant coach Kenton Paulino continues to serve as interim head coach for the Miners’ until that time.
